Some, like Selling Manager, require minimal subscription fees—but many of them are also free. If you're an eBay seller, you owe it to yourself to scan the tools and features on offer in your eBay subscriptions area to see if eBay offers a subscription that can help you to jump start your business.
Accessing Subscriptions
Accessing your subscriptions is easy and is accomplished using your My eBay area. To visit the eBay page listing subscriptions on offer for you—with the option in each case to subscribe if you haven't already or to unsubscribe if you have—follow these simple steps:For users of the new (yellow) My eBay system:
- Click on the “My eBay” link at the top of any page on the eBay website.
- Click on the “Accounts” tab at the top of your My eBay summary page.
- Click on the “Subscriptions” link on the left side of the page, in the bottom of the area labeled “My Account.”
For users of the classic (blue/purple) My eBay system:
- Click on the “My eBay” link at the top of any page on the eBay website.
- Scroll down on the My eBay summary page until you see the area labeled “My Account.”
- Click on the “Subscriptions” link at the bottom of the list.
Alternatively, you can simply click this link to visit your eBay subscriptions page directly. Note that you may be asked to log in before proceeding.
After following the directions for your My eBay page, you'll see a page marked by the presence of a large “Subscriptions” area showing your existing subscriptions and the subscriptions available to you.
Adding and Canceling Subscriptions
If you already have active subscriptions to eBay tools, you'll see an area labeled “Active subscriptions” listing the eBay tools to which you currently subscribe. You'll see an area labeled “Available subscriptions” even if you don't currently subscribe to eBay tools.- To learn more about a tool subscription offered to you, click on the “Learn more” link next to any of the offered subscriptions. eBay will show you a help page detailing what the tool is, how much it costs, and how to go about using it.
- To subscribe to a tool, click on the “Subscribe” link at the far right of any of the tools listed in the “Available subscriptions” area. eBay will show you page that asks for your confirmation, after which you'll be automatically subscribed to the tool in question.
- To cancel an active subscription, click on the “Cancel Subscription” link to the far right of any of the current subscriptions listed in your “Active subscriptions” area. eBay will show you a page that asks for your confirmation, after which your subscription to the tool in question will be cancelled.
You can subscribe to, unsubscribe from, and resubscribe to any of the tools listed on your subscriptions page, and you can do so at any time.
