Add/Customize Favorite Seller Top Picks
You can find out whether any eBay buyers/bidders have marked you as a favorite seller—and, if they have, you can promote specific items to them—by following these steps:- Click "Marketing Tools" at the lower-left of the Selling Manager summary (My eBay) page.
- On the Marketing Tools page that appears, click the "Favorite Seller Top Picks" link at the upper-left of the page. If on the following page you see the message "You currently have buyers who have selected you as one of your Favorite Sellers," your top picks will be used to promote specific items to them.
- To select items by hand that should appear in favorite seller promotions, click the link titled "Change to Manual selection" in the "Item Selection" area and select items from amongst your currently active auctions that should appear.
- Or, to edit the list of items that will be promoted automatically, click the link titled "Edit criteria" to display a form that will enable you to select keywords, listing types, or price ranges that should be used to determine which of your items are promoted as favorite seller top picks.
Customize Notifications
Selling manager offers you the ability to customize both the auction end notifications and invoices that are sent to your winning bidders. To customize these notifications, follow these steps:- Click "Marketing Tools" at the lower-left of the Selling Manager summary (My eBay) page.
- On the Marketing Tools page that appears, click the "Logos and Branding" link at the left of the page to display the logos and branding options page.
- To add a logo or change the message sent to winning bidders in auction end email notifications, click on the "Change" link to the right of the "End of Auction Email" area. You will be given the option to add a logo or change the message sent to buyers on the form that follows.
- To add a logo or change the message sent in invoices to winning bidders, click on the "Change" link to the right of the "Customize Invoice" area. You will be given the option to add a logo or change the messages sent to buyers on the form that follows.
Leave Bulk Positive Feedback
Selling Manager also offers the ability to leave bulk positive feedback for many buyers at once, eliminating the need to copy and paste messages into feedback boxes one by one. To leave feedback for a large number of buyers at once, with the option to leave a random mix of positive messages, follow these steps:- On the Selling Manager summary (My eBay) page, click on any of the links in the "Sold" box to select the group of buyers for whom you'd like to leave feedback. For example, click on "Paid and Shipped" to leave bulk feedback for all buyers who have paid for their items and whose listings you have marked as shipped, or click "Paid and waiting to give Feedback" to leave bulk feedback for all buyers who have paid and are awaiting feedback.
- On the list of bidders and auctions that is displayed, check the leftmost box (next to each "record number") to opt to leave feedback for that user/listing. To leave feedback for every user/listing on the page, check the box at the top of the list next to the text "Record #," which will cause all items in the list to be checked.
- Click on the "Feedback" button near the top of the list once you have selected the listings for which you'd like to leave feedback.
- On the feedback form that appears, click "Leave Feedback" at the bottom of the list to leave a random selection of positive comments for all of the selected users or listings. To leave a single, custom-written positive comment for every listing, check "Use custom comment" and then enter your desired text before clicking the "Leave Feedback" button.
Access and Change Automation Preferences
In Selling Manager Pro only, you as a seller have the option to automatically list new auction listings on an ongoing basis according to rules and content that you supply in advance and to automatically leave feedback of various kinds in response to ongoing cirumstances.To access automation features in Selling Manger Pro, click on the "Automation Preferences" link on the Selling Manager Pro summary page. This will take you to an area where all automatic tasks, including feedback and listing tasks, can be configured.
