No longer can email or chat--only call
- I don't have a land line phone, only cell phone with very limited minutes. It costs 45 cents a minute if I go over my minutes, so I don't like to call anyone who doesn't qualify for my mobile-mobile free minutes. Anyway, I emailed ebay this and explained how I needed help and that I couldn't call. This is the response I got: Hello, Thank you for contacting eBay Customer Service. Ebay+paypal=epic failure
- Impossible to reach either pp or ebay. Customer service is non-existant, and ebay has turned into a haven for theives, cheats, liars, and lowlifes including ebay personnel. Their buisness is based on gouging, ebay taxes for listing, selling, and paypal fees since ebay owns paypal. TRIPLE TAX... Outrageous

- I received a fake item and I contacted the seller, she offered to pay back the money if Id send the item back. I did and have waited a few weeks now, since contacting the seller is useless I tried to open a case. but that was not possible since the last day to open it would be feb 2, wish is today... so why cant I open a case? I tried to call the number, but yea.. its useless, so now I have bought a fake item, send it back and payed extra for the insurance and I cant get jack! mmmhhh so when dealing with ebay, you buy at your own risk in other words. :( sucks but true.

Another bad experience..
- Had two listings on the go and when I go to check on how things are going, I see that my account is suspended and there is no reason stated as to why. I tried calling the number listed on their site but I'm outside of North America and don't exactly feel like racking up a huge phone bill while I'm sitting on hold. I just emailed them through a couple of addresses I found here so we'll see what happens.. It's Feb 1 2012, let's see how this goes.

- The toll free number puts you in a loop. The live chat is no longer avail. It is a joke. I need help and cant get it.

Bad Phone Number
- I used the method described in this listing and got a toll free number and PIN when I dilaled it and did not get a busy signal I was connected to a woman's emergency support number for abused women, it was not even eBay even though the number came from eBay.

Calling is a joke
- I hate calling. Maybe if they had Americans in America for Americans who call it would be different, but I have to explain myself over and over to the Indians who answer the phone. And they always start with something stupid like "My name is Steven, how may I be helping of you today?". Your name isn't Steven. Tell me what it is. Saying an American name doesn't confuse us or make us more comfortable. If anything, it pisses us off more.

Scammed by eBay
- I purchased a cruise from eBay for $503.00 and there was no way to know I was scammed in 45 days. Now eBay won't refund the money. Is there anything I can do.

Seller for several years
- I do hate to call live chat, they give some weird, stupid answers. I have had some hang ups when i call, usually i hang up when i get the stupidiest answers you have ever heard, Ebay granted does need to hire someone who know a little about ebay and computers insead of hearring pages turn while you are on hold. The other hand i now call ebay "live contact" and i am very pleased with the way i am treated and they stay on the phone with me till i get the problem resolved. So i do commend the Live Contact by phone, no way live help. I am pleased with the help i get and they have even called me back to see if everything is going o.k. now with my problem i was having, I am a seller for almost 5 years and to be honest i am pleased with the service, BUT I DO HATE TO CALL LIVE HELP!!! THEY REALLY CAN'T RESOLVE ANY PROBLEMS AND ARE VERY UNEDUCATED TO EBAY PROBLEMS!!

- Tried to get onto ebay to have them place a negative response to a supplier who is still yet to deliver on the goods promised in 7 days, and its now 5 weeks. They have so many hurdles in place to make you give up instead of a contact us response that is simply an email like most other businesses. I used ebay to find auctmarts, that was the biggest mistake I have made yet

Betrayer eBay customer
- I sold a mobile phone legitimately on eBay for £350. The buyer paid through PayPal as requested then asked for details of my address which I gave. I transferred the payment from PayPal to my account and told the buyer they could come and collect the phone. After doing this and saying goodbye to the phone I received an email from PayPal to say that someone had fraudulently hacked into someone else's account and bought the phone. After several hours on he phone to both eBay and PayPal no one wants to know or help in any way. It's just impossible. I feel so betrayed. I have contacted the police and they say there is nothing they can do either, I feel so let down.

Ebay NO WISH TO RECEIVE EMAIL CONTACT!!
- I asked the TRUST & SAFTY DEPT to Connect me to the AREA of MY Concern and was told that he couldn't TRANSFER MY CALL OVER due to that DEPT NOT having NO PHONES. BUT could only be REACHED BY EMAIL. I ASKED for THAT EMAIL ADDRESS LATER and was given (Refolbe@ebay.com) to which I needed to sent DOCUMENTS to them FOR important information in email. NOT LONG after I DID this was received a EMAIL DISCLAMER NOTICE!!! I then CALLED EBAY AGAIN ASKING FOR THE EMAIL ADDRESS and was told THAT EBAY DOESN'T WANT EMAILS!!!! I have to SAY every EFFORT MADE on PHONE, or EMAIL and to that LIVE CHAT with PIN to which they couldn't help was useless because MY details to which I wanted Ebay given, this PERSON WASN'T able to do for the information had to be SENT IN EMAIL DUE (TO DETAILED INFORMATION) only. SO a Long EXPERIENCE with EBAY came to a SAD CLOSE. GET ROUND AROUNDS, HANG_UPs, DISCONNECTION'S, and EBAY NEVER RETURNS CONTACTS by (PHONE or EMAILS) as they say they WOULD PERIOD!! MY EXPERIENCE ALL!!

- none I continue to enter name, but all passwords are invalid! Impossible to email without password. password never comes in email. I have lost bidding on at least 3 bulk Legos, because in order to bid I have to enter the UNAVAILABLE password and ebay doesn't send it . Catch 22. HOW do I contact, bid or anything when I click forgot password, all I get is my name? Entire BrainAll Yucked up......I just wanted Legos...not diamonds, but I can't call,email or anything. eBay has driven me crazy; I need just enough to build a small padded cell
