When you conduct a search for sale items by keyword or browse for sale items using the category system, eBay displays list like this one showing items for sale. Each page in the list shows the following elements:
- Related categories and subcategories. Shown down the left side of the page against a yellow background, you can click on any of these to further narrow the list of sale items being shown to you.
- Search box. Shown above the list of items for sale on this page, you can use the search box at any time to search item listings using new keywords.
- Related searches. Shown just under the search box, related searches are keywords that other eBay users have typed to generate lists when trying to find similar items.
- Page navigation. Near the bottom of the page you'll find the number of results pages your search filled and the number of the page you're viewing. For example, when you see "Page 1 of 253" you know that there are 252 pages of items after the one you're viewing. Click on the numbers in the list to view a particular lage, or simply use the "Next" and "Previous" links to move forward or backward in the list.
The most important part of the page, of course, is the list of items itself. Read on to find out about the item listing format.
