In fact, there is such a help system, and it's called eBay University. eBay University is a more coherent, organized, tutorial-oriented form of documentation designed to help new and somewhat new eBay users to really get up to speedto achieve a "higher education" in basic eBay buying, marketing, and selling, if you will.
How It's Organized
If you've never visited eBay University before, the first thing that will strike you about it is the way in which it's clearly organized into just a few basic categories:- New to eBay
- How to buy
- How to sell
- Increase Your Sales
The basic major sections are then further broken down into two categories: free online tutorials and classes151;live courses in your local area or regionthat go beyond what can be taught via a website alone. Click on "free tutorials" in each case to access a list of tutorial "documents" that will guide you toward improving a facet of eBay website use.
Finding Classes and Video
In the categories where such a link is present, click the second link to "attend a...class in your area" to either watch a live video related to the topic in question or to be directed to a search tool that will help you to find "eBay Education Specialists" or the group classes that they teach near your home or business that can provide you with live, in-the-classroom instruction about eBay use.Contact information both via telephone and email are listed for each instructor found in your area, as is a rating (using a basic star rating system) provided by other eBay University members that shows the usefulness and helpfulness of the instructor in question. Topics, organization, and rates vary, but in each case you've found an opportunity to learn from another eBay member out there who is expert enough to offer courses about eBay use to members like yourself who are searchingwhether for more personal, one-on-one help or merely for that extra edge that comes from extra expertise.
