The "Online Customer Support" tool is the core of eBay's current customer service experience. Though some find it to be unhelpful, it is possible to have most issues resolved using this online system.

When accessing the tool (use the links above or below), you'll likely be asked to sign in using your eBay member ID and password.
The customer support tool offers three tabs:
- Find an answer. This tab (the first shown to users) offers a search box that provides access to the vast repository of eBay help files. This is a good place to start with questions about rules, fees, use of the eBay website, best practices for buying and selling, and other issues.
- How-to videos. This tab offers users tutorial videos to help them to do things like take better listing photos and changing personal eBay preferences.
- Contact us. The Contact eBay tab offers users an automated system to have most eBay problems resolved, sometimes by contacting eBay (you'll be given contact information only if the automated tool believes that you need to contact eBay) or by accessing other eBay.com website tools directly.
