Definition: Listing Upgrades are features and promotional tools that can be added by sellers to their eBay auctions as they are in the process of listing items for sale.
Listing upgrades such as those covered in the Seller Features Guide typically increase the visibility of an auction listing or make it more convenient for either the buyer or the seller, at the cost of a small increase in insertion fees at the time that the auction is listed.
Refer to eBay's current fee calculation table (near the bottom of the page, by expanding the list titled "Listing upgrade fees) for details on current pricing for most listing upgrades.
