The eBay mail forwarding system is an eBay website tool that allows two eBay members to communicate with one another via email without either one having to know the other one's email address.
The mail forwarding system uses the eBay website as a go-between or intermediary. Users carry out a conversation by filling out a message form on the eBay website. When the form is submitted, the message is sent to by eBay to the intended user's email, without revealing this email address to the sender. The receipient can then reply in kind, using the same system.
