By Aron Hsiao, About.com

In addition to the tools and components already discussed, eBay's front page contains one or two additional items that deserve a brief mention:

  • International eBay sites. At the bottom of the eBay home page you'll the names of the many nations in which eBay traders operate. Click on any of them to shop for items in that nation, using the related national currency.

  • Corporate website links. Below the list of national eBay sites are links that lead to various non-trading areas of the eBay website. Among other things, these links can be used to contact eBay when you have questions or issues with your account and to search for work as an eBay employee.

Though it can be daunting to first-time users, the eBay front page is your portal to a new world of more effective buying and selling. With practice and interest, you'll be using eBay comfortably soon after you join.
