Aron Hsiao is a former eBay employee and a longtime eBay buyer and seller. A computing and technology expert and six-time author, Aron joined eBay in 2000 and continues to sell on eBay today. Through thousands of transactions Aron continues to maintain a perfect feedback score and profile; he has never received a negative rating or comment.

Aron began selling on eBay in 1998. He joined eBay's Trust and Safety department in 2003 as a part of the SafeHarbor team, responsible at the time for resolving buyer and seller conflicts and marketplace rules violations. As an eBay insider Aron gained valuable insight into eBay's community and culture, best practices shared by top performers, sourcing and marketing methods, and the kinds of risks and mistakes that buyers and sellers routinely confront. Though Aron is no longer employed by eBay, he continues to sell on eBay and other ecommerce platforms and to mentor others in designing and launching independent online selling businesses.
Aron holds two B.A. degrees from the University of Utah, an M.A. degree from the University of Chicago, is currently a Ph.D. candidate at The New School for Social Research in Manhattan, and completed eBay SafeHarbor training in 2003 at the Draper, Utah eBay campus.

I joined eBay in 1998 after being told that I could save hundreds or even thousands of dollars a year shopping on eBay for my business computing needs. Before long I was buying nearly anything else I needed on eBay as welleven personal items like books, clothes, housewares, and entertainment items. Soon I realized that I could actually make money on eBay as well by selling things I'd otherwise have written off or donated to charity. By then I was hooked.
I liked eBay so much that I joined eBay's SafeHarbor team in 2003, becoming part of a team of great people that felt connected to and invested in their buying and selling community in ways that would be impossible on any other ecommerce plastform. Though I eventually left eBay to pursue a graduate degree, I remain an active eBay community member, buying and selling thousands of items a year while maintaining high customer service standards and perfect feedback.
