eBay News: Arbitration, Not Class Action

Aside from the more widely publicized move to ban magic and spiritual "services" (like spell-casting or prayer-saying) on eBay, in a move bound to raise more seller eyebrows eBay has also amended their user agreement to exclude class action and non-small claims legal claims, requiring members to submit to binding arbitration on an individual basis instead. Continued use of eBay is acceptance of those terms.

The move isn't unprecedented (it's become increasingly comment for corporations to make this demand of their users) , it's bound to raise yet more heckles amongst independent eBay sellers.
