eBay News: Record-breaking Black Friday for PayPal

Though exact details haven't been made public, eBay's PayPal sounded a positive note this weekend, saying that it had processed some 20 percent more transactions on Black Friday than it did on the same day last year, with sales through mobile platforms up some 650 percent. This is positive news for eBay heading into "Cyber Monday" (the Monday following the Thanksgiving holiday) tomorrow, which is traditionally the biggest day of the season for online retail. More at:

Really, PayPal is overtaking what eBay can do.. and eventually I think eBay will tank and we’ll have a new auction key or really an main super store… Amazon.

PayPal is still up there though.. it won’t be until Google Checkout starts expanding to more countries will PayPal have to worry. Right now they have the monopoly.
