eBay News: Skype Sold, GM Program Extended

eBay announced this week that it has sold a 65 percent share in VOIP communications giant Skype to a group of private equity and venture capital funds. Sale price was some 2 billion in cash, a reasonable chunk of the 2.8 billion that eBay believes Skype to be worth. More at:
