Shares fall as eBay meets, exceeds

True to usual form, eBay met the analyst street late Wednesday and exceeded its own expectations, posting earnings of $248.3 million, or 17 cents/share, a three percent decline over the same period last year. Shares fell on the news Thursday and appear to be continuing their slide as of mid-day Friday.
